Vauban's location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city. Just steps from the main square, perfect for exploring. The bed in my room was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially when I needed local recommendations. The breakfast offered a simple but pleasant selection, though having more options would be ideal. The walls between rooms are thin, making it hard to ignore sounds from neighboring guests. The bathroom amenities were basic, lacking something more substantial like a proper shampoo or conditioner. Overall, there's potential for a great stay with a few upgrades.

the room was so noisy that i thought i booked a sound studio instead of a hotel. I also had to climb stairs just to reach the elevator, a minor inconvenience for someone like me. how disappointing that I wasn't given any complimentary welcome gift, honestly. I almost gave them a good review, but just couldn’t.

The inadequate soundproofing from street noise made for an uncomfortable experience!!! Poor ventilation in the room made it stuffy, and the confusing electric socket placements added to my frustration!!!

Location is unbeatable right in front of the city hall and close to many charming streets and patisseries. The breakfast team served a lovely continental spread which set us up for the day. Staff were welcoming and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay.
